ABC's 20/20 did this experiment with the help of the Bethlehem PA police department to see how someone would really react to a gunman entering a room. This is Part I of 2.

The agenda and propaganda is clear here: "Give up your 2nd amendment rights. You're just stupid sheep. Don't even try to think and act on your own. Cops are the only ones who should be allowed to carry guns."
not only that, I love how the shooter in this video is a firearms instructor and specifically targets the person with a gun. This is so much BS its not even funny.
everyone may not be rambo.... but i am. And I do train enough where I would be able to put down a bad guy. This is so much BS, these kids had never fired that firearm, let alone used that holster before this study. Of course they weren't ready. People with concealed carry practice more than many police officers do, including myself. I refuse to play dead or run away when I could defend myself and others.
What if you can't get away? What then? Just give up?
And of course they're going to lose to a trained professional who knows where they're going to be sitting every time! You think spree shooters are going to be any more trained than a CHL holder?!
This is straight nazi propaganda...Of course they will not report on the numerous times firearms have helped in situations. Fight for the 2nd amendment and your right to bear arms... An individual with a gun is a citizen. An unarmed individual is a subject.
lets forget the political agenda of this video for a second and see what's to learn.
video at first look: "guns shouldn't be allowed on campus, because it won't help."
video at a deeper look: "if we allowed campus carry, there are many stupid people who THINK they can use guns well but actually cannot. They are arrogant without realizing their own shortcomings."
thoughts: 1- train. 2- get off the X. 3- after-action assessment of surroundings. 4- realize your shortcomings if you want to carry
So if I give a Non-swimmer an hour of swim lessons and then put them in a Triathalon and they drown, then swim lessons are not effective? If I give someone who has never fought a fight in their lives and give them an hours worth of boxing training and then throw them in the ring with a boxer and watch them curl up into the fetal position, then training in self defense is also not effective. Yes, this is all very logical....NOT!
Talk about a total hit piece on CCW. They set the students up for failure from the beginning. Did you notice how the "active shooter" always targeted the person with the gun right after shooting the professor, even before he/ she had the gun out? That tells me that they told him where the CCWer was sitting before he even entered the room. If I were taking part, I would demand to sit wherever I wanted, and I would also demand to carry the gun in the same manner as I do my own every day.
