Become one of 50 seniors and juniors from high schools throughout California selected to participate in a unique leadership conference that will educate and nurture a new generation of aspiring political and community leaders and advocates from our Asian Pacific Islander American communities.
The 20th Annual APYLP Leadership Conference for High School Students will be held March 25-28, 2010 in Sacramento. Students will hear from dynamic speakers, actively participate in a Mock Legislature at the State Capitol and engage in conference workshops that are all designed to:
•Develop leadership ability of students to become active participants in their schools and communities
•Build necessary skills such as public speaking, sharing ideas and networking
•Enhance cultural awareness and identity through exploration the richness and diversity of Asian and Pacific Islander communities in California
