Sean did a great job here.
So sad that Sigurd Rascher (who this was written for!) taught at the Eastman school, and the EWE never recorded this with him. For shame, Dr. Fennell!

Absolutely fantastic. Your tone and expression are just outstanding.
You've made me really want to play this piece now.

You know, it was nice to hear the freer sections of this movement not rushed through. I've heard them done like a race, and it loses all its beauty in favor of flash. There's plenty of flash in the third!
Nicely done!

I was fortunate to hear Dr. Paul Cohen perform the orig. version last month here at West Virginia University. Its startling just how many differences Dahl made from the orig. score. Considering he is the only person in the world with the actual orig. music I felt very fortunate to sit down with him and review it.
