@ReignRizzapes this is a 1/4 mile track..but most guys/gals around here run 1/8 mile! Plus its less were and tear on the race car and engine which is always good

ford isn't the only one, the ZR1 comes with a blower. So ford must be on to something, 03/04 cobras gt500, lightning f150. some of the strongest motors ever made, both the 03 cobras and gt500 can take 1000hp with 100% stock internals. People who bitch about ford using power adders are the ones who keep getting beat by em, But i bet u don't complain about the ZR1 having one. everyone who makes serious power is using some sort of power adder. is top fuel considered imports to you?

@abrianL ford sintered rods will break upon deceleration one anything much past 600-650hp..., why they set the blow-off vavlr so low,first mod everyone does is bypass the saftey valve.but your correct these little engione love the prssure, just think if they were a biogger bore and shortyer stroke?.they say the 5.4 rod length generates F-1 rpod speed, amazing, we ares till looking for that OHC monster engine custom built by Nelson Racing to get right, then all bets are off!.OHC rules!!
