There are in everywere violence, but we dont see it... and then we forgett it and it is like it doesnt exist. He shows to remember and to some people to teach something hide, something not truth (but it is). The recient movie from Jodorowsky called violence in the desert, were 150 people died some days ago by a bombcar, in afganisthan it was i think? the irony is violence too.

I love this man's views on cinema/poetry/art/violence! Fuckin GENIUS! I agree with him 100% I run into people all the time who say, "Ohh I can't watch those surreal fucked up movies you have man that shit is too fucked up for me!" Why does it scare them? Because they are not used to seeing that type of shit on screen but they don't have a problem playing fuckin Call Of Duty shooting Nazi Zombies in the head now do they?

What he is trying to say, is that today in this world there is a lot of violence that we dont want to see, we ignore the violence. But it exists, and the only way to finish with violence is to acept there is violence, not blinding eyes.
This is my interpretation.

thefonkykid is a fool. Phonologie's interpretation is valid. But I also feel he's commenting on how much violence exists in the WORLD, yet how ridiculous people are to accuse HIM of being too violent.

Go fuck yourself, his talking about art stupid!

By the way Jodorowsky comes from the poorest towns in Chile, then he live in Mexico in one of the most violent areas, so shut up if you don't shit about him!

He's still a starving artist, he doesn't know luxurious condominiums and mansions, he live in a very small apartment with his wife and cats, he's a brilliant artist but a poor one.
