Julie Fei-Fan Balzer demonstrates how to use and care for Glaze and Souffle 3D ink pens by Sakura of America. Glaze and Souffle work on most non-porous surfaces. Embossed lettering and designs are easy to create... just write slowly and let dry.

  • Hi Julie! I'm new to your U-tube feed and I love my Glaze and Souffle pens. What is the best position for storing our pens. I've had a few that I have never been able to get started (of course, now it's been several years), and a few that worked well, but are now giving me fits. Any suggestions?

  • @mybilliejo The best way to care for Glaze and Souffle is to store them horizontally. This will help keep the ink evenly distributed throughout the pen barrel. If they’ve stopped working it's usually because the ball in the tip of the pen is stuck. Sometimes you can get it started again by drawing circles over textured paper (like watercolor paper) or by gently pressing the tip of the pen to paper and holding it for a few seconds. Also, you can reach Julie on YouTube by searching for milkcannyc.
