A romantic comedy about a man, a woman and a football team. Based on Nick Hornby's best selling autobiographical novel, Fever Pitch. English teacher Paul Ashworth (Colin Firth) believes his long standing obsession with Arsenal serves him well. But then he meets Sarah. Their relationship develops in tandem with Arsenal's roller coaster fortunes in the football league, both leading to a nail biting climax.

  • Thanks for uploading this! I was constantly havingtrouble why I would get up at 7am every saturday to go to the pub to watch football (Canada) She finally understands, and I can say that she is just about as mad for it as me!!

    THANKS!

  • You're welcome and thanks for watching :)

  • I love this film not only because it's so cute and funny, but because Colin Firth has said that Paul is probably more like him than any other character he's played. This film was made around the time he was married and it's evident that he was a very happy fellow. Firth insists he's pretty dorky in real life and I can see that come through in the Paul role a bit, but what straight woman in her right mind wouldn't love to love Colin Firth, nerdy or not.

  • Thanks for your lovely comment, I love this Colin's character too and you see I,m a football (reds) fan too ;)

and indeed every straight woman would love to LOVE him <3 :)

  • Next lovely (and a very funny) Colin's film! Thanks my dear;)*

  • You are welcome my dear Sonia, glad you enjoyed it, :)

  • arsenal once again pulling it out of the bag! michael thomas is a legend

  • ARSENAL!!!! <3

  • Hey Hughes is my last name! :) You'd think it's be common to find, but really it's kind of out there, and i've only ever met one person who's ever had the same name that wasn't realted to me in any way. Plus you always get asked, are you a descendant of Howard Hughes? How would I know? And most likely not. :)

  • Did us stupid americans make a knock off of this with drew barrymore and jimmy fallon? i'm glad i founf the original, i mean i liked the american one, but the original is always best, especially when it has Colin Firth in it. :)
