I love this film not only because it's so cute and funny, but because Colin Firth has said that Paul is probably more like him than any other character he's played. This film was made around the time he was married and it's evident that he was a very happy fellow. Firth insists he's pretty dorky in real life and I can see that come through in the Paul role a bit, but what straight woman in her right mind wouldn't love to love Colin Firth, nerdy or not.

Hey Hughes is my last name! :) You'd think it's be common to find, but really it's kind of out there, and i've only ever met one person who's ever had the same name that wasn't realted to me in any way.
