This is an alpha release of Alien Vs. Predator for the Atari Jaguar.
This is different than the beta I made a video of earlier.
Some textures are different as well as the weapons. The level that is present is also different from the previous installment.
I would love to see if there's a way to get to different sub-levels in this one...
anyone have an idea?

  • one thing intrigues me

what is it in this game that keeps whispering

    "anytime"

  • @Arzaker It's the Predator.

In the first Predator movie there's a guy who says that and then the Predator repeats it back from within its cloak as it observes its prey.

So whenever you hear those creepy sounds like that in the game you know there's a Predator close.

  • @viMasterJag

oh so its the predator playing back on recording

so it acts similar to the mostion sensor in warning you a a close enemy

  • @Arzaker Yep pretty much... and it also scares the crap out of you haha!

  • The Aliens in this version look scary as shit...

I guess they changed the graphics on them knowing nobody would dare play this if they looked like that :)

  • @colorschan Hehe yeah, and yet even with the final version of the game, I've never been as scared in my life playing a game haha.

  • Somehow the textures are better edited here than in the final version.

  • The very first time I heard 'Anytime' I had to whip my head around to make sure no one was in my darken room. My Jag hooked up to my stereo system so the voice seemed to come at me from behind. Spooky, very very spooky.

  • scared the crap out of me at 2:10

  • rick rolled at 1:08 LOL

  • I played the crap outta this game (the released version). Great times

  • t6he aliens in this version look more like gigers original design

  • I just played this on my Jag, and it runs alot faster and smoother than the retail version. I have been told that this version does not use JagPeg compression, which the retail version does on the fly. It would have been so cool if Atari had released the CD out from day one to benefit 3D games for faster processing, and music playback.

  • @viMasterJag

    especialy when you here

    Beep beep beep beep

    "anytime

    Both at the same time
