One of the nationally and internationally most noted violent crimes in the last decades was committed in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis on March 2, 2008 and became notorious as the "Lester Street murders". In a residence at 722 Lester Street, four adults and two children were found murdered, three other children aged between 4 and 10 months were reported as being in stable to critical condition after the assault and treated in local hospitals.[5] The crime was featured on the A&E television reality show The First 48, a show in which police officers are followed by a camera team and reporters during their investigations.[6] Accused killer Jesse Dotson, who had served time for a murder sentence and was released from prison only a few months prior to the killings, was charged and convicted of 6 counts of 1st degree murder and 3 counts of attempted 1st degree murder in October 2010. A jury sentenced Dotson to death and he is expected to file an appeal. The two week long trial received national attention was held at the Shelby County Court House with the Honorable James Beasley, Jr. presiding.

I understand whats done is done but I disagree with mans way of going ahead of God and punishing him with death...but then again if God isn't ready for him to die I guess they can inject him as much as they want and he still want die....idk i just have mixed feelings about it. What Jessie did was horrendous but death a bit inhumane. R.I.P. victims. Im sorry you had to lose your lives that way.

I feel that Jessie Dotson just didn't care about what he had done. I saw this on the first 48. He deserves to die because of what he did.I also belive that during the trial all that Jessie said was bull s***. Why did Jessie kill so many people. Jessie ought to be ashamed of himself.
