This shows the process of covering the lid of my Acer Aspire One netbook (tiny laptop PC) with 3M carbon fiber-look vinyl wrap.

This was my first time trying this. It went a little slowly, but came out pretty good, I think!

  • So, hows it holding up (if you still have that computer)?

  • @Pikabe57 Still have, and it's holding up great! (Netbooks are so two year ago...but it serves its purpose.)

  • how to avoid bubbles ? i did on mine vaio but shit too much bubles

  • @PhuNguyen88 We haven't had much problem with bubbles. Just go slow and methodically.

  • @MachVDan hi! does it leave residue once i remove the sticker? thanks!

  • @hardheadedparanoia The longer it's stuck on there, the harder it is for the adhesive to come off cleanly. When it's fresh it's pretty easy to get it off without leaving residue.

  • @M0ng0li0 Yes.

  • nice

  • @Jdmdecals Ha! Yeah, I guess the Year of the Netbook is now over. The world has moved on. Maybe if we hang on to it, it'll become a collector's item...
