I have seen this man in concert 4 times. Always sends a shiver down my spine. It is a shame and a sin he is not recongnized so much in the main stream, but then again true bluesmen aren't. I believe he is the best combination guitarist and singer on the planet.

He'll be immortal via 'Strong Persuader'.
A drummer,along with Peter Boe(piano),I'll always treasure.

curious, who would you include that can sing and play guitar at this level? cray is like two superstars playing in one body. freddy king and buddy guy... as those guys could be off the charts dynamic, robert cray has amazing diversity.

I once heard him sing this song acappella at a show years ago, and it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I will never forget it. I would love to have a video of that!
