Platypus Hydration review

I've been meaning to buy some of them...the benefit for me is that it is a light option for various packs. It may be sort of gay but for something that is lightweight to have as a back-up to my canteen kit or to have more water carrying ability than just my nalgene & canteen.

Maybe a pair of the 2 liter verity in each bag with the hose & an aquamira frontier pro

@rooftopeagle  i have 2 of the 2 liter ones rolled up in my pack along with a 2.5l water bag. I have had zero issue with them.

@delta69alpha Great! They have their downsides but for the size and weight they are also very good for even a back-up or extended capabilities if needed!

agree it does seem very useless and ontop of that that nipple thing is slightly gay. i have some of their older stuff, but for the volume id rather just carry a 500ml water bottle

@cbr6864 forgot to add. They sell caps. So the nipple can be taken off. The hoses from their bladders will fit on it as well. They all interchange.

Well thank god I didn't go and pick one up. I had been thinking about getting 2 of them but I guess I will go with option #2.

I refuse to use anything that tries to "shoot me down the throat" on GP.
