I am so glad to see this trailer. I applaud you. I'm not a native to the town but when someone asks me where my heart lays, I always speak of SMA. Camping out on long summer nights, going cycling over on it's challenging and cobbled roads, celebrating life and friendship. I visit every chance I get so as to see how things are changing. Once you live in SMA, there is no escaping its charm, beauty and timeless wonder.
South of the border down Mexico way lies one bright and shining star, San Miguel de Allende, The Heart of Mexico, the epicenter of the Mexican Revolution. This documentary from Caren Cross brings together the town with its splendorous Colonial beauty, the Mexican people, and the ex-pat community living there. My travels to San Miguel bring me joy and peace never experienced before. This DVD, and any visits, will move you from your head to your heart.
I would love to watch this! I lived there for only 4 months.. then went back to Canada. It isn't easy.. unless you have money. I did find it beautiful though. I love Mexico and always will.. everything about it. If I ever win the lottery or if I had a high paying job where I could telecommute from there.. that is what I would do.
