@bimmermotorsport Sorry, BMWs are meant for, if anything, the track. BMWs aren't meant to be drag raced in any way, and will NOT digest a Mustang in a straight line, and the new 5.0 and even keep up with the new M3, if not beat it, on the track.

@cheaniggachea i have a jb4 335i with dual cone intake and full catback exhaust...im doing well about 4.3 second 0 to 60 times and on track in homestead track in miami i run 12.7 second 1/4...thos are just light mods..on map 5 with 93 oct gas...if i had meth, downpipes, and inner cooler...im sure i can run in the mid 11s...335i anit no joke man.

And no, power to displacement is relevant and imperative, as it shows their ideals in the form of a budget engine. If it were a performance engine, every mL of that 3.7 would be used. But unfortunately, to increase the longevity of a shabbily developed powerplant, the engine kept subtle. No other company does this. Even the nissan makes 340 out of a 3.7 VQ.

@cheaniggachea great spelling. your mustang looks like ass. please point me to an article stating that your V6 would keep up with a 335i. How about doing a little reading of the C&D test. The V6 stang gets to 60 in 5.4 seconds, and 1/4m in 14 flat. The 335 gets to 60 in 4.8 and 1/4m in 13.6. And thats on BMWs soft "street" tune. 600 buys a Procede, making 420hp+ .

200lb difference? Why does it matter when the Bimmer spanks the stang even with the 200lb disadvantage. Makes you look bad.

@cheaniggachea sorry no it cant. ooooh, twin variable cam timing. Its called VVT in Toyotas and VANOS in the Bimmers, used since '96. Who mentioned gas mileage? Why do you incorporate extraneous information? Now that you mentioned it, the 335 makes 31 hwy while chip tuned to 420hp.

it takes your car 3.7 liters to make 320hp? the e46 m3 made 332hp from a 3.2L. And the weight is irrelevant. That just means the Bimmer offers more insulation.

@bimmermotorsport yeah my car can easily beat a bmw 335 that has an inline 6 twin turbo engine that makes only 300 hp. the 3.7 liter mustang engine with twin independent variable cam timing has 320 hp and an estimated 32 MPG highway. also the bmw weighs 3600 lbs wheras the mustang is only 3400 pounds. also your awd system will slow you down when you try to drive on a tack as it will be trying to prevent you from squealing the tires and power sliding. @Pezdetz666 Yes and no. The JB4s timing control is debated, as their monitoring seems to be futile, but thats a debatable subject. Procede has proven itself as the pioneer in N54 mapping, and personally has ran wonderfully for a year in my e90.
