Actually a govt. report released shows that women DO make the same as men. It's just that he's forgetting to point out that men work in more dangerous jobs, for longer hours.

Your missing that point that most people don't know how much other employees are making for doing the same job. As a consultant I can tell you that MOST companies have rules against sharing payroll information, including immediate termination for providing this information.

Here's a riddle for all you gals who think women get paid less for equal work.

If I'm a business man, and I can hire a woman to do the same work as a man and pay her 75% of what I'd have to pay her male counterpart, why would I throw my money away on the overpriced man?

It would make absolutely no sense to hire a man when a woman would do the same job for less money.

And if I didn't hire all the women I could find, my competition would. And they would price me out of the market.
