this is one of my many favorite songs
because the old rugged cross
has made a real difference in my life..

Reading Matthew 27: 22-26
it tells of the cross as the sign of our Savior's death..
JESUS suffered for us,
HE suffered more than any other person in human history..
when JESUS died upon that CROSS,
HIS blood draining the life from HIS body...
HE died... for us, me n you... for the entire world!

God says there is no hope for the world aside from the Cross.
Nothing speaks more clearly of God's love
than the Cross...
GOD's Only Son,
JESUS died that we can have eternal LIFE.

When i consider my crosses, tribulations, and temptations, i shame myself almost to death, thinking what are they in comparison to the suffering of my blessed Savior Christ Jesus. ~ Martin Luther
