Changes we made while building a Volksplane. Adding wing tips, turtle deck, strut fairings, wing fairings, starter, re drive, larger fuel tank for the 2180cc engine, 3 blade adjustable prop with spinner, spring landing gear with fairings. Takeoff run at 1600 foot elevation is 500ft, climb at 950-1000 fpm and cruise at 100mph at 3000rpms. Top speed is redline of 120mph.

  • I have no problem at all with your comment. It is a plans built airplane. The plans called for a 1600cc VW engine but we needed a 2180cc because of the changes we made. Larger fuel tank, two batteries, alternator, starter and etc. It is faster then the first one but that also means more weight.

  • does youtube require music that we all hate when you post a video?

  • @Adrunk11, They must! I wrote them asking how to get rid of it but it seems that I am stuck with it. When I tried to reload the video it had a different sound track that was worse so I deleted it.

It is a very beautiful airplane. It is wonderful. The fixtures of FRP are very wonderful. I would also like to make VP1. However, an airfield is narrow and it cannot fly. There are almost no those who are making the airplane in Japan. It is enviable.
  • @masanori54 Thank you for your comment. This is my fathers plane and we both had a lot of fun building it. It is a lot faster then most VP-1's with the changes that we made but that also adds weight.

  • Awesome airplane! The best VP job I've ever seen so far....Great paint, wood and fiber glass skills as well... I worked with fiber glass for almost one year, and I know what I'm talking about.... I've done an excellent Job! Congrats!
