  • The blood of Tiller the Baby Killer got spilled! Hooray! Have burning in Hell, you piece of shit! God hates you! God sent the killer! This is even funnier than that Mary-worshiping pedophile Catholic priest, Father John Geoghan, getting killed in prison! ♰

  • only a person who believes in god can murder another who doesn't believe what he/she believes. religious bigotry should not be tolerated in any society in the world. why? because it kills people for stupid religious reasons.

  • i love how one of the guys asks: "any idea of the shooters motive"? and he says "no we don't". ummm i'm not a detective but i'm pretty sure its because hes an abortion doctor.

  • wow the world is fucked up. what is this the 19th century?

  • @ttoale Murder is everybody's business.

  • Ok yes thanks for pointing out the typo, smartass. But you understand my point right?

  • non sequitur moron

  • utterly idiotic. you never heard of HIPAA? These are constitutionally protected privacy laws. So what happens to the mother who already has children at home? Prison?

Too bad about your Roeder ...... maybe you should bake him a birthday cake

  • So? Just because they do doesn't mean they should. I don't really care if they can or if they are a host so I don't see why I should worry about that.

Besides I think with modern technology we could set up a sufficient surveillance apparatus to be able to enforce anti-abortion laws in a practical manner. They already use chemical detectors in the sewers to find which houses drugs are coming from. They could use the same technology to find if someone had an abortion or simply had a miscarriage.

  • the personhood legal argument is a loser. The mother is the host and determines the fate of the conceptus, always has, always will.

You could imagine how many of religious zealots like Scott Roeder would be bringing legal actions and false accusations in cases of spontaneous abortion where there has been over 79 million of them in the last decade alone.

  • "the personhood diversion is the non-sequitur"

Are you stupid? The personhood issue IS the issue. If the fetal child is a person she has fetal rights and the abortive parent can shove it, end of story! Thus your whole case hinges on whether or not she is a person. Get it?

  • Ok the answer is the "conceptus" is not viable during embryogenesis. But abortions are not performed on women during the embryonic stage.

Secondly and more importantly this viability or lack thereof has nothing to do with the personhood of the fetal child or her fetal rights.

This is like saying that X is not a policeman because X does not have green hair. That is a silly statement and I don't see how anyone with half a brain could find something like that relevant to the issue at hand.
