HAPPY NEW YEAR! Qristina & Quinn @ Aberdeen Music Hall

Performing a set of tunes at the Aberdeen Music Hall during the Aberdeen International Youth Festival this past summer. 2008 was a wonderful year that included recording and releasing our debut CD "Relative Minors", we had the opportunity to work with some wonderful musicians during the recording process! We also performed at major folk festivals, starting with the Vancouver Island Music Fest, thanks Doug Cox for inviting us! Before leaving for Europe we also had lots of fun performing at the Islands' Folk Festival. Going to Europe was certainly the highlight of our summer, beginning with our participation in the Aberdeen International Youth Festival. A big thank you goes to Brian Milne, Artistic Director of Speyfest, for inviting us to be a part of the 2008 Festival - we so enjoyed playing there and meeting the other bands, particularly LAU! After Scotland we were off to Ireland to be a part of the Feakle Music Festival, and antoher big thank you is due to our friend Gary Pepper, who invited us to be a part of the program. Another big thank you to our parents for providing us with countless opportunities to grow as musicians and for being our biggest fans and supporters. Last, but not least, thank you to our youtube friends & subscribers for sharing the gift of music with us.

We are now looking forward to the New Year and the opportunities ahead especially the official CD launch of "Relative Minors" on Saturday, February 28th.
