A cold start and idle with a Legend Lime V6 Mustang fitted with a flowmaster exhaust system.

Since the engine is so cold, revving the engine causes less fuel to be burnt and the "sputtering" that I explain in the video.

  • @xproe If your adding performance mods, the dual exhaust will increase performance but- If you run too large diameter piping, you will loose back pressure and low end torque will go away leaving a terrible acceleration.A blower or turbo can utilize larger exhaust pipe diameter. Naturally aspirated V6 Mustang uses 2.25" pipe, slowly increasing to 2.5" mufflers and tail pipe.

  • @barrymean I disagree. Even without a Y or two straight pipes, if you get a tuner, RAI, and a good quality axel-back exhaust (Borla, Powerflo) it can even sound better.

  • I prefer the SLP Powerflo, its amazing.

  • @dboyz0123 Well no matter what you do a v6 will never sound like a v8 but u can make the 6 sound damn good. I have a 6 with flowmaster and it sounds good but a lot of people tell me its too "ricey." I've listened to the frpp gta's from ford racing and they sound the best IMO but you just have to listen to some videos on here and decide what you like the best.

  • @Archaic1Smile how much is it for a true dual on a v6? I can get an awesome deal on a 2005 convertible at my local dealer; they are shutting down their business. I can get it for $5700.00+ tax+ title. No salvage or anything. It's that or a GT 2001 convertible. However, if I can get the v6 to sound like a GT, I am all ears. Anyone know how I can do this. Do I have to cut for the exhaust to come out. Should I go flows? I want no rice burnin sound. Also, how much? So 2001 gt or 2005 v6, both verts

  • @ xpore
