Demonstrating COD4, Fallout 3, CS:S, GTA SA, Grid, Trine, Half Life: Source, Risen, Quake Live and Tropico 3 on the Asus N10JH.

If you actually want to play some games at a proper frame rate, but without going overboard with a heavy $3000 Alienware laptop, I recommend the Asus UL80Vt. It's a 14" notebook, 6 cm longer than the N10, it's thinner, weighs about the same, is priced about the same, and has better battery life (rated at 12 hours). It'll play games like Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Oblivion flawlessly at medium/high settings. It can even play Modern Warfare 2 quite well at low settings. If you want to game harder, there are better 14" notebooks out there, but go down that route and prepare for a more expensive, thicker, heavier, louder, and hotter laptop that won't even last two hours gaming. If you're watching this video I assume it's because you're interested in portability, so if you want to combine that with gaming, just get a laptop that games "good enough" and stop there, or you will never be satisfied.

  • hey dude where did you buy that? internet? i didnt know that theres a 10.2'' that has a g105m!

  • I bought it from tigerdirect

  • Nice vid.

I play cs:s i see that u could play it nicely did u OC ur Atom? any other changes to make ur n10 perform beter like SSD?

And could i also tell me what FPS u got from the video stres test

    Thnk you

  • didn't do any vid stress test sorry. It plays CSS, but if you're competitive it won't satisfy. all these games are running mostly at low settings, so what you see fps wise in this vid can not really get any better even with overclocking.

I recommend seriously that you check out the new Asus UL30vt (make sure it's vt ) if you want to play games like CSS 100% solid 100 or 150 fps.

  • i alrdy got a n10JH <3

but i havnt test anything bacause i got vista buisnis and im waiting for my windows 7 upgrade before i instal stuff on it.

Did u tryed out any XC maps or big surf maps? How does it play then

    ty for responce

  • sorry I'm not a CSS player, I just installed it to see how it performed. I don't know what XC maps or surf maps are.
