If you would like the tabs I have written them out for both parts...please just email me and I will send them as soon as I can.

A beautiful instrumental by Opeth. I play a Greg Bennett Nylon (w/pickup) and Sony Vegas 8 video software. Enjoy and thanks for watching my videos.

  • Great cover man. How do you get those high piano notes on the acoustic? Did you tune up?

  • @MetallHead9 Hi, thanks for commenting on my Patterns cover. The high piano notes are played as harmonics. I play the 12th fret with left hand as normal but pluck the E string and dampen at the 24th fret with first finger right hand. Hope this helps.

    Thanks again,

    Ian

  • got the tabs thanks a lot

  • @motorhead1685 no problem, thank you for watching my video.

  • Simply Perfect!!! WOW! Amazing!!!

  • This cover wins. I'm really loving the piano-to-guitar arrangement for the melody... Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to figure out the notes?

  • Your guitar has a very classical guitar sound. It's interesting to hear Patterns with that tone.

  • Yep this cover wins I think it sounds super close to the original, I couldn't figure out that chromatic movement up during the bridge (verse?) but you've helped me here...

  • the piano arrengment is orgasmic

  • Eezerly done! As ever! That's so genius how you've imitated the piano, brilliant touch!
