History should be a basis for peace and partnership between nations. Ahead of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has laid out his view of the global tragedy.

  • I think Putin is a very good leader for the Slavic people. I am very happy that he is in Poland for the ww2 aniversary. The Polish leadership should realize that the best thing for Poland is a good relationship with Russia and the other Slavic countries. Putin and other Slavic leaders should focus on establishing a Pan-Slavic Union, a union like this would be the strogest militarily and economicaly. The bad thing is Polish leaders are anti-Poland foregin agents in my opinion.

  • "with all due respect to the Poles and Czechs - their governments have nothing to say whether the MDS is installed. It's US technology and money that is at stake"

    ???!!!???

First you say that "Poles and Czechs have nothing to decide" implying Polish and Czech PEOPLES and now you say that even their GOVERNMENTS "have nothing to say"!?! Are you joking or...?

"US technology and money that is at stake"? And what about Polish and Czech TERRITORIES and PEOPLES? US can stick its paper "money" into..

  • @CSHOOLIGAN bullshit. Why would a Moscow led Pan-slavic union work if it failed with the Soviet Union? Putin may be a good leader for Russia because Russian people have had no experience with democracy (leaders' powers "checked") in its history, and a strong leader is necessary to control such a vast nation, but its not what other Slavic nations need, nor want. In my opinion, Moscow needs realize its not the USSR anymore, it has LOST its empire. No reason to be lording over former puppets.

  • RUSSIAN VERSION OF CNN HAHA VERY FUNNY

  • "russia and Poland were partners that fought against same enemy..." Poland was fighting germany AND russia because russia INVADED Poland. Who stabs their "partner" in the back by attacking them and killing their people?

"no one can rewrite history..." Well russia sure as hell did a GREAT job, brainwashing its people and the people of other countries under their control at the time.

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles it wasn't a border skirmish, it was a full invasion, same as with Czechoslovakia. And Britain along with France were in a defensive alliance with Poland in case germany attacked and germany knew this perfectly well. Therefore germany set off WW2 by attacking Poland.

  • U dont now what is it all about... Poland and Russia are now fighting for leadership of Slavic countries. If Russians apologize us they will lose and it ll be end of their new imperialistic demands.

  • And just to be clear, between Germany and Poland was a border skirmish. It was the British Empire that actually declared war and thereby started WW2.

  • stalin was just as evil as hitler. russia and germany signed a secret pact to split up eastern europe. the red army did not liberate one single country in eastern europe. stalin enslaved every country the red army entered. blah blah putin is a dick.

  • Russian version of CNN-thats really funny :-)

  • hahahahah

  • Coming from a brainwashed worthless fat yank like you ? I dont think so
