OMG. This brings back so much memories of parties in Clapham, London with the immigrant Grenadians and Dhal Puri Roti. Friends of my Dad playing this song over and over again. I was only 5 at the time.

Anyway,when this song was released in the 70's it was a number 1 hit in all the discos in London.Great time except that there was a lot of racism and my Black friends suffered a lot in them days.LONG LIVE AFRICA-LONG LIVE ALGERIA.
