If this place exists, I want to know about it. And if it doesn't, I want to build it. No matter which city you live in, do the same. The people deserve it.

  • Words of truth man. Another thing, there needs to be a place for all ages. Young kids are lazy as hell. If they knew about dancing to house and are exposed at a young age... House used to be about love, unity, fun. It still should be. Now its confined to places asking for $30-$300(VIP) at a dancing club there should be no VIP. We need places like the Garage(NY) You know what's an inspiring video? Maestro. its a Docu. about House music and Larry Levan and other DJ's when house was starting up.

  • @1ch1goUch1a I completely agree with you. Back west, I used to teach House Dance in schools to little kids, because if you get them engaged with the dance now, they'll fall in love with the music naturally. I've seen Maestro and you're right, it's an incredible window into the past. hopefully we can build on that in my generation! :)

  • Bro I'm from nyc and we have spots like District 36, Cielo, and Pacha (to a certain extent) but they're not quite the kind of househead sanctuary that you are describing in the vid. I completely share your vision so much so that I had goosebumps running down my neck as I was watching it. Best of luck to you Danny; its so good to know that true and genuine househeads who understand the culture exist and are doing great things.

  • @Choga Hey Choga, I hear NY used to have those kinds of places in the past; I've been to D36 and it was awesome but agree that it wasn't quite like what I have in mind; Funkbox is excellent for the dancers and it also has a piece of the vision, but same deal—it doesn't quite capture it. Would be incredible if every city had a venue or party like the one I have in mind. Stay in touch and let me know if one springs up in NY; maybe I'll come spin up there next year brotha! =)

  • The song in the video is totally dope. =D

  • @dragonninja598000 Will definitely be released (in a few months) =)

  • @kennyBvids22 Yea man, what the vid is basically saying is that there isn't a place (that I know of) weekly, on (well, for me, a Thursday) with the kind of House Music-centered environment that I have in mind. There are several very excellent and hard-working DJs here who have their own nights but they are not of the size that I wish the scene did have. But it will take many people coming together to bring that vision to life so the people can chill, have fun, and just dance ;)

  • Wow at first i didnt understand what you ment, but now i did that was pretty deep and i know whatchu mean. People need to chill, have fun, and just dance ;-)
