Without finding love in Yoko, some of his best songs in his solo career wouldn't have been inspired. She was an artist too. A great one too.

@funcooldrew2 Hate is a strong word, but I "dislike" Yoko, because I think apart from her, his solo career could have been much more. Can you say "Under my thumb?" As I've mentioned elsewhere (in some similar fashion), would Yoko fall for a truck driver from Detroit named John Lennon?

rest in peace dear John *__*

you lot on here going on like you knew the beatles personally their personal livs was NONE of OUR business i loved their music and thats it

@funcooldrew2 I agree. They obviously loved each other very much and who are we to question that. He was an amazing person and as far as I am concerned anyone good enough for him is cool in my book.

John broke up the band, not Yoko. Yoko was like his prank on the rest of them. Don't blame her. However, George was probably the one who wanted out the most. For John, it was very simple. The Beatles was like school. At some point you want to graduate and move on, not live in the frat house until you're 80. They all still loved each other. It was not a nasty band breakup like was typical in future rock bands. Their relationship was brotherly -- you can't really break that up.
