About this video: Shout was written by Roland Orzabal and Ian Stanley and was performed by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. The outside scenes were shot in the spring of 1985.

This song is very important to me as a Tears For Fears fan because it was two years prior to this that my parents split up.

Some would say that this is the only song that was written about Primal Scream Therapy and that old adage "your parents screw you up" which is something that I can relate to very well.

I always felt that this song is the only song that expresses a point of view without caring about what anyone else thinks.

That point of view is "if you don't like the way things are going then you have the absolute right to make a fuss about it."

Yes I am very aware that Universal is misspelled so there's no need for anybody to point out what a lousy speller I am. If you do point that out the chances are good that you'll be blocked from my videos or any future video projects. :)

@ash3965 I think so too. I mean Disturbed doesn't even come close to this. In fact Katy Perry doesn't even come close to what Roland and Curt did in Head Over Heels.

its comical when people who apparently have no idea of the state of rap music say things like, all they talk about is cars money and women...lol...obviously you are only listening to a select few artist...all music sucks if you base you opinion solely on what you hear on the radio...thats like me saying all rock music sucks because all they do is talk about drugs, killing themselves and heartbreak...a very limited view indeed...

Most rap is horrible I agree, and by most, I mean 99%. However, I have recently come to appreciate rap for how amazing it can be, look at Eminem, yes he's a dickhead, but he's is such an amazing lyricist. I also realized that because Rap is devoid of Melody, there are no constraints =on what the artists can create, they're free. Yes, Rap is inferior to true music in every way, but not all of it is horrible.

@PheonixChan no, you're right. i was there, and look, here i am! still listening, and i think our children will still be listening, i was in the 60s too, (but don't tell anybody) but i always thought the 80s were like the '60s, only more modern. you can hear the words to the songs, just like in the 60s! come on, i'm talking to you!
