Becky Douglas turns personal tragedy into a huge effort to help the leprosy affected by forming the non-profit group, Rising Star Outreach. Rising Star has a multi-tiered focus
to help the leprosy affected become significant members of a society which has shunned them for thousands of years. Through education, mobile healthcare and small micro credit loans, the leprosy affected are gaining an increased level of self esteem. It is an in-depth look at how one woman can make a difference.
