How to Tuts: Decrease ping, latency, and lag for online games

In this tutorial, I show you a common, easy, and efficient way of lowering ping/latency, resulting with less lag. Its called TcpAckFrequency, and it allows faster transfer of small packets (such as the ones used in online games), but instead decreases large file download speeds (although I've never had that problem).

If it doesn't seem to work, or affects your download speed for the worse, its very easy to remove. Just go back to where TcpAckFrequency is located and delete the item.

You did not have to blur your IP, that's a local IP not an external IP. You'd be fine ;D

I did this and my ping in halo pc went up. i ping a 33-34 to a 66-67 nothing in between that and my ping after this went to 300-334. The problem i'm having is that my ping goes from 34-200.

OK i dont have any buffering while watching youtube my network is fast but when I play left 4 dead my ping is 5 or 21 but im still lagging and the host is alright
