Its the guy from SNL!

@chanteurmoderne Michael Trimble of the Trimble vocal institute. The man is a God among voice teachers(I studied wiht him for a year before I became a father). He studied under numerous greats(Jussi Bjorling, Alfredo Krauss) and sang with Luciano Pavarotti when he was at the Met, and Dame Joan Sutherland (also when she was at the Met), all of whom don't shift the larynx on purpose. If it happens it is to happen naturally, never on purpose.

@chanteurmoderne ok but i can i train this part above the larynx ? which are thee good exercices? the cry? with mum? and what else?
-
@chanteurmoderne ok i prefer in french!
what is "twang"
-
@clemcamby The sinuses play no role in resonance - that is an old (and long disproven) myth - research shows that the sinuses add nothing to the sound and that primary resonance is created in the space just above the larynx, being then magnified by the vocal tract. Stevie sings with a lot of twang and cry in his voice - that's where his resonance comes from.
Si tu as besoin d'une traduction, n'hésite pas à me faire signe !

These stupid videos are all mixed up with no indication of what order they're supposed to be viewed in and no links to previous videos. :-(
