I realize that this series really only addresses my losing Christianity, but not so much about my eventual acceptance of the label "atheist".

Keep in mind that once I stopped going to church, I didn't just one day decide to be an atheist. It was a very long and gradual changed, as it is with most de-converters.

I can honestly say that I am much happier now, and "at peace" with life, the universe, and everything.

im going through a similar crisis.wheresuch a crisis should lead you in search of God it has lead you to deny him. nothing wrong with not knowing. but to deny existance is actually saying that you do have knowledge.if you run towards god instead of away you can get the evidence that you look for. but to be honest, if your mind is set, than " even if someone returned from the dead you would still not believe. keep searching friend. my prayer is that your searching in the right direction.

I can't stand how religion makes people corral so easily/willingly for the usefulness of the powerful.

The irony of it is they make up the majority of society & that makes even the most stanch anti-theist intervene

As we text there are financially powerful people with technology that can put down all resistance & they are making there move on a global scale.

They are working a religious deception in hopes that people will buy the end game story and do nothing.
