Maher makes extremist generalities & isn't the slightest bit aware of it? Palestinian cause isn't accurately summed-up by wanting to 'wipe Israel (or Jews) off the map', but to demolish the institution of Zionist violence & organized, systemic oppression based on absolutist principles that substitute force for justice, makijng a mockery of human & civil rights. Israel politics has been driven by a cult of victimhood that justifies everything except accomodation & negotiation, seen as 'failures'.

What I'd like to know is how Maher, a vehement atheist, acquired that particular allegiance to israel. An allegiance by which he contradicts some of his supposed deeply-held views.

The fact that you have declared sovereignity does not mean that you should be allowed to break all kinds of international law and human rights. The fact that the other party does the same is no excuse. We, western countries, preach our superior civilization, sadly we often don't act accordingly.

You mean no one In the Public Eye can dispute their right to exist cause then they get crucified by the undeniably jewish-dominated media. Israel was founded on the most fallacious of principles: religious scripture. Why did the Palestinians have to bend backwards to accommodate the jews? Israel established it's sovereignty in 1948. No one can dispute their right to exist. If you want to evict Israelis' from Palestinian land, why don't you start by evicting Americans out of America and giving it back to the indigenous Native Americans? Lead by example!
