Community members in South L.A. are trying to get a local liquor store to stop selling alcohol. Century Liquor is across the street from a new library and some neighbors say its dangerous to sell alcohol near a facility that caters to youth. The store owners say theyre being blamed for violence in the neighborhood that has little to do with their business. Let us know what you think, by commenting below.

  • what do i think? who owns the property? is the owner of the property putting a gun to the head to make them enter the store? it warms my heart, i thought all the entitled busybodies lived in the richer/whiter part of town

  • LOL who wants to make 9 to 10 bucks an hour to be a security guard at a place like that? You pay me 20 bucks an hour with a gun and we'll call it even. But who's gonna pay someone 20 bucks? pffft the government is already tight. Those in power must give up there power straight up. But that'll be the day.
