This is a little exercise for those who have trouble with the wrist roll. Its simply a exercise that lumps all possible wrist rolls together in one movement(or two, since they are not in the same flow).

It also teaches you to stop the staff while in a flow and to use both hands in the transfer to add more momentum to the staff. A hand transfer does not have to be static. If you feel the staff is getting slower, just use it to make it go faster.

If it is performed without the break(stopping the flow with your hand), it is also a conditioning exercise for your wrists. Strong wrists are important in Staff Spinning.
