htpp://www.CSTactical.com - The Sniper's Edge: SORD (Shooter Objective Ranging Device) links two mission-critical tools for accurate aiming solutions - with flexibility and speed that no other system can provide. Industry leaders Horus Vision and Vectronix Inc. have teamed up to deliver the only integrated sniper/spotter solution. SORD enables rapid ranging with a Vectronix Laser Range Finder (LRF) and instantly sends target data into the Horus ATrag MX Balllistics Calculator. In a flash, SORD creates versatile solutions for targets across multiple zones. It reduces the possibility of human error and eliminates manual entry of ranging data.

  • @zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz For forgot the "But wait buy one now and get free cleaning kit.”

  • This type of technology is used with the Cheytac M200 sniper's rifle, only the likes of the M200 or Barratt .50 cal rifle's will reach 4000 yards,

    good for the army.

  • If the army is using that...I feel safer.

  • @CSTactical1 I'd feel safer if it was a Marine.

  • @ehornCast I think it would run with a Anzio Ironworks. What 20 are you talking about?

  • @chillerboy134a Yet is does not reach out far enough for the Mag-Fed 20MM Rifle

  • I have that system with the Leica BRF and the ATRAG2. It is amazaingly useful when shooting in the real world at distances that are not fixed as they are in the shooting range. Rapid calculation of offsets for say 658 yards saves a lot of fooling around with kentucky windage and the like. That's probably the reason the Army bought it. 4000 yard capability is interesting, but not really useful for most operations.

  • 4000 yards....

Not alot of rounds that will reach that distance for a sniper.
