I vividly remember that scene and this entire storyline and these promos...it's what hooked me on the show. That, and my sister. But even for the 70's, Rick's jewelry is over the top!

The Quartermaines, Tracy, trapped in a loveless marriage, and her brother Alan..." Holy CRAP this is when I was addicted. Jane E walking down thr stairs with the cape and braids! Even the Pat Falken Smith stuff which I didn't love as much as Doug Marland's GH looks DARN good compared to these days. What a trainwreck in comparison.

i miss the good old days of gh. i hate what guza did to the Qs and the Hardy/Webber family. he did everything he could to kill liason. the webber hardy family only have steve liz and her kids left. Monica is left on recurring static the Qs been hack to only a hand full because he keep killing them off. jason now is more of a pod form of who he really is. and out of all that the thing that make me mad the most was one of the 1st thing he did was fire the lady who play lila quartermain

@coolwafferman what did you think about Alan smashing the china on the fire mantle? Dr. Q won't be played for a fool! I like the scene where all the Quartermaine's were out in the foyer. I think this all took place in January of 1980.
