  • It does indeed have oil ports, I put a bit of oil in it and it runs better, not amazing but what I believe is how it's supposed to, very similar to my Montgomery Wards....

  • Nice Hunter Fan!! I so want of these so badly :)

  • so your the famous bill K cool ive heard alot about you! all good of course! well im sure you are right, but my 20" version of this fan has no oil ports at all! all my other box fans do however! exept my ge twin window/box fan

  • If memory serves, it has both front and back oil ports. I didn't bother to oil it, as I knew Zachary would. I'm Bill K., by the way. :P

  • Can you ever oil it?

  • i have the 20" version of this fan. yes it is a bastard to oil them regularly. it almost seems logical to drill an oil port, but id hate to do that and destroy its originality!

  • ME JEALOUS!

damn Bill must really like you! 4 fans! 0_0

  • Those are a bit more difficult to oil, I think those are permenant lube with felt reservoirs. I've serviced a full size one of these and had to take the motor apart (no oil ports) to get at the felts and soak them in oil.
