Very first recording landscape mode (night) test of the Ipod nano 5G in the car, I just bought it from Asda walked out to the car and clipped the Ipod to the sun visor, the dirty windscreen on my car does not help. The Street lights have switched to half bright economy settings (New council going Green!) so street lights not as bright as usual.

  • That Ipod does pretty darn good sir, would love to see what it can do in the daylight?? Very nice!!

  • I can see a problem already, held horizontal it records as normal landscape type, but in the vertical it records much like some mobile phones , a pillar box type picture, another problem may be the micrphone being over sensative tried it wearing a helmet and talking but the audio recorded badly overmodulated distorting the voice, I will reserve judgement till I try it on the bike, if no luck its back to Asda for a refund, I I like 28 day change your mind stores (Uk Asda owned by Walmart)

  • OH MY GOD YOUR ON THE WRONG SIDE LOL!!!

  • how do you clip it to the sun visor?

  • I second that!

  • The video is certainly acceptable however if the audio distorts when speaking close to the mike that would not be good for a helmet cam. Also too bad they couldn't have it shoot the correct frame size when held up and down. I would really like to ask the design team why they did things like they did.

  • Glad you got this vid up. Sorry I never got mine done... Can't even encode a vid right now without my machine shitting itself and drying... PSU problem I think. Perhaps some tape on the mic is save distortion when in a lid? I was planning in resting it on the chin bar then some Velcro to keep it horizontal attached to the visor

  • skipping the roundabout tsk tsk AND coldplay! tsk tsk indeed.. travis is a well scottisher band :P awesome quality though dude

  • Not too shabby at all. Pretty impressive to be quite honest. I'd really like to see how it is inside a helmet.

  • hah its not bad.
