This is a minimally invasive spinal surgical technique to remove prolapsed lumbar discs. Surgery is carried out under general anaesthetic with two 5mm portals. Surgical time is about one hour. Any type of disc herniation can be tackled with this technique. Patient is discharged the same day or hospitalised overnight. Post operative physiotherapy is not required.
I had this done on 12/17/2010. And i've been perfect after that. I had mine done in mexico since i have no medical insurance only for 4000 dlls.. best dr ever DR. Catalan.

Has anyone had Perlutaneous Lumbar Disectomy? This technique looks amazing - you can see if on youtube and only involves a needle which is injected into the disc and removes the middle part of the disc which therefore shrinks in size. I wanted to know what peoples outcomes are? Risks?

I lived from chair to chair for 5 months before i had the surgery....
Tried Chiropractor - 2 Months
Tried Spinal Decompression along w/ Muscle stim & ultra sound - 2 months

Months of Vicodin & Percocet only masked the pain
Had the surgery done and the next day i was up and walk without finding a chair. I was so happy. Definitely a life changing experience
