Please click the HQ button to watch in quality--I don't know why YouTube would even offer low res....

First of all, I must thank Terje (YouTube user kjempekaker) for his beautiful music "Music Box Lullaby", without which this video would not be complete...The music provides the perfect melancholy sound I was looking for when I imagined this video.

Ghost towns, abandoned houses, and abandoned farms all provide an interesting subject for creating fine art. These things often will have lonely, melancholy feeling about them that invites the viewer to reflect upon what might have happened in the past to bring about their eventual demise.

Ghost towns and graveyards have been an interest to me ever since I was a child, although it was not until recently that I started photographing them. I personally like creating thought provoking images, and abandoned places are the ideal subject for this.

Many of the photographs in this video were photographed using an infrared filter. When all the visible light is removed, the result is beautiful, mysterious, and perhaps haunted. I believe infrared is the ideal way to photograph ghost towns. I hope you will agree!
