  • Don't be fooled though! Avoid philanthropy at all costs; it's an attempt to make the gospel "hip" and "relevant". Instead, preach the gospel in love - and if you find it challenging to be loving without resorting to social justice, then perhaps God has called you to advance His kingdom in a different way...like sitting around debating theology all day!

  • The purpose of the Church is to show people the way to turn from their wickedness. Read Acts 3. Peter didn't start a "begger camaign", he healed a begger in Jesus' name so that he could preach the gospel. This "social gospel" is absolutely anti-biblical. Stop catering to the flesh and preach the Gospel in love.
