Praise be to God, another priest forever after the Order of Melchizedek. Ordination to the Priesthood of Father Harris Rowzie, OP, in the Anglo-Catholic Archdiocese of the Southwest at St. Mark's in Atlanta, Georgia. The officiant was the Most Rev. Rutherford Johnson, PhD. The Holy Mass was celebrated in Latin and English under the 2010 Book of Common Prayer, and the ordination was in Latin under the Pontificale Anglicanum 2009. This video shows several highlights of the mass and is part 1 of 3. This part covers the procession through the collects.

  • @TrainmasterCurt I might add, that I had the pleasure of meeting several members of different Anglican religious communities when I was a Franciscan in Assisi in 1966. We had a meeting of Catholic and Anglican members of religious orders, the first in history, in the Franciscan hermitage of Le Carceri.

  • Lovely, but I am mystified by the use of the pallium, which has always been given by Rome as a sign of communion ! Well, I certainly hope that union will come soon and to God's praise.

  • This is real Anglo-Catholicism!
