Illustrates some of the mathematics behind computer graphics. Shows rotations, shears, and dilations. Excel level: Advanced (uses a scroll bar). Math Level: College. Note: this spreadsheet creates macros. If you create a similar one, you'll have to lower your security level or create a digital certificate in order to open your own file.

  • Thanks a lot! Great video! I was struggling to find a way to graph 3d matrix rotation. Can you please tell me how you set the the negative cartesian axis by default? Cause I can only the positive axis when my vector has positive values. Thanks.

  • @Novecento By default the axes can't be negative -- that's a pain, but you can use the workaround that I show in the video.
