Forty acrylic-painted photocopies of various texts, personal photos and images on gessoed masonite, small, none larger than 14" long, done by Ron Schira early nineties, shown at Albright College Freedman Gallery during the summer of 1993 and the New Arts Salon, Philadelphia, Sept 1996, over 100 originally, computer music by me.
hi ron.... great work.. i do collage too, and would like to ask you which glue do you use to finish off your painting. I mean the cover-it-all protection..
many thanks

Bintmalak, I use a clear gloss acrylic medium manufactured by Utrecht or Liquitex. It is better to find one that you can pour, not a paste, because it levels itself and doesn't detract from the work. Thank you for your compliment.

your artwork is very good although it seems sort of, forgive me, evil and strange. i noticed lots of artists are using alchemy and symbolism which is satanic in nature. have you studied that since lots of pics and symbols are from these sites on the web? just curious.
thanks

sheshola, satanism has nothing to do with my art, these pieces are image associative with autobiographical photos from my private collection and references from art historical and commercial sources, they are meant to be more ironic and mysterious than evil. I do not practice satanism nor do I visit their websites. I admit they are a little strange but I completed them a few years ago when I was going through a divorce. Thank you for your interest.
