A rigid wing is driven at its leading edge (right). The body rotates due to fluid forces and a restorative torque (spring). The horizontal motion is also set by the fluid forces. The large aspect ratio here does not yield a periodic vorticity shedding; instead, the interaction with the vortical wake leads to a random walk!
