@JennyBMoon I have tried some others as well for a while, nothing really worked. Pretty much I am taking Alegra & cough suppressant now.

You just have to go with Drambuie and lemon. I don't know if any of the ingredients help the actual course of the disease directly (Although there are a ton of secret herbs in there - It was originally created by the Royal (Even though he was never technically a king) Apothecary to help Bonny Prince Charley with his frequent head colds and sinus attacks). Enough Drambuie though and you won't care. I'm Scottish by heritage and several of my older kin swear by it.

Poor Jason! You seem to get sick a lot. I cringed at your home remedies, though the cayenne pepper drink looked pretty good. Did they work? When I feel the bug hitting me, I drink a lot of juice and vitamins.

Hope you get better Jason and yes, being sick stinks. I don't have any home remedies. I reach for the nearest over the counter pick me up that we have. If someone else is sick in the house, I go nuts with a can of Lysol Disinfectant.
