Parent Control 2.0 - Trying to remove this device is of no use. A software based parent control doesnt work, it is easy to bypass. This hardware parent control device is not hackable or any other way to bypass. Even when you're from home or at work the device works. With this device you dont have to worry when they have a television or computer on their room and are wondering if they are doing their homework or getting some sleep.

  • As a gamer, I could get around this I am quite sure if I really wanted to. And on a related note there are ways parental timers set in the account settings of almost all games and consoles now.

As a parent, I would not buy this. While my kids are currently too young to want to use a computer, when they get to that age it will be in a room where we can see it. And if worst comes to worst, I'll just remove the RAM (on the computer) or the power supply (for a console).

  • I am a gamer myself.... Believe me...There is no way to get around this, even if you are that sure :)

Not every parents has the (game)computer in the room and if they do, you're not always at home when the kids are to keep a eye on them.

The whole idea is, that there isnt a battle of removing anything anymore... or kids finding them where you hide it.

  • This device makes no sense, if its just a fancy power timer that you plug in to a wall and then plug your console/monitor/tv into, then you could just unplug it... unless the devise you want to be blocked has some sort of data connection (ie USB) to the "break box" not just a power connection it can't control when the device comes on. and if it uses some sort of power surge method, then it will do serious damage to you devices over time... all in all. retarded.
