Lucky none of those logs did'nt slip out of the grapple on that first swing! Probly would've wrecked something or killed someone

Indeed, the separate crane allows for a higher load on the trucks, as they get a lower empty weight.

Is that really price competitive, in reference to having the crane on the car instead? Here You need two guys and 5 million SEK for doing a job that could be done for half the price?

Why would'nt it be? You can load much more on the trucks. You can load them much much faster and you only have one crane serving 10-15 trucks! They only operate where there's much timber to remove. The smaller areas uses trucks with cranes.
