@gearheadguru more clyinders dont mean more power bud. just means less vibration. some say v8s put out more power outher say inline is better. the cummins had shown to be the best diesel for 3 quarter and up trucks.

@RM250D8rzr You are right on the money. An inline engine makes way more torque than any V configuration. Mostly because all of your reciprocating mass is tansferred to the the crank. Especially in a cummins with those massive con rods which is part of the reason they are almost indestructable. You never see V engines in semi's either. Most industrial engines are inline. Thanks agian for using your space for something constructive.
