If his face wasn't cold, would this man have not been able to tell it was a scorpion, really? I mean, scorpions are pretty damn obvious. Perhaps telling the difference between a poisonous snake versus a non-poinsonous one would have made more sense.

I think that was just to be funny. Obviously, you could tell if it was a Scorpion without asking if someone's face was cold. It seems more like something they put in to be funny to me because the whole commercial was find of comic-booky.
I laughed when we asked if his face was cold and then he's just like "Yeah, that's a scorpion."
